Okay, I guess this place is as good as any.

Come July 19th, Alexis and I will make it all official. Not that it'll really change anything, but we (well, me mostly) have been putting it off for a little too long. So in a couple months, we're heading to the local courthouse to sign our papers and stuff.

Don't expect any ceremony, though; we're not really into that kinda thing. But for anyone interested in coming, there will be a reception afterwards at her parents's place. Just dress casually and bring food.

Also, no cooing about a "Mrs. Alexis Conrad" or anything. Not only does that sound awful, but the whole maiden name shtick has always struck me as a pretty sexist tradition.
