Silent Line: mk7 'Valkyrie'

.....ok. first off, i'm not a Macross fan. i thought up the name before i even heard of it, so don't give me any trouble.

anyway, this here's a screenshot of Valkyrie mk7, the seventh of my mounts in the series. even after seven games, it's basically the same core concept (oops, sorry for the pun, Jeremy).

since it was first made, it has been a middleweight biped with a gun for every range. at first, i tried using a warhead-type missle, but that had a tendancy to open up too close to the target and just whiz by. i've found other missles to be pretty ineffective as well, especially with the advent of missle interception, so the ol' chaingun seemed like a good choice. i guess you could say it's kind of the like your token hero's mech, being a middleweight and all. no remarkable stats, but that means no weak points as well, right?? the perfect vessle for the hero to project his skill through, right?? ;

......*ahem

during missions, it's power is a bit toned down considering that it's two solid projectile weapons can be pretty costly to use. but in the Arena, it goes to it's strongest. at that point, i may even swap out it's laser blade for a hand-held howitzer (which, unfortunately, was removed in Nexus..... along with many other pluses) for some serious firepower. this machine has been the main combatant of many a bitter duels over the course of the series..... maybe i should get a pic of Sidney's "Striker" sometime, too.

the color scheme has always been this sort of psuedo-Gundam theme, with it's trademark gray-green, but that may change one of these days. i just need to think of something snazzy..... black and red is too damned overused by villians.... white is an alright base, but i need something a bit more signiture.... i don't think people would forgive me for using orange in a color scheme..... ah, i'll figure something out.

anyway, i think that's about it. i'm sure nobody wants to hear more about my wannabe Gundam, so i'll stop it here. again, lousy quality from just taking a picture of the screen with the camera. i swear, sometime in the future i'm going to make my computer with capture ability. then i might be able to get some better screenshots. only downside is that Dark Felix would be using my computer all the time..... /shrug
